Darren is a specialist insurance tax director who has over 20 years’ experience working with general and life insurance companies and over 17 years with PwC.
Darren has been involved in some large assignments including tax due diligence work, tax consolidations, tax structuring work and dealing with the regulators such as the ATO on ruling requests and APRA/ASIC on enforceable undertakings.
Darren has been involved in tax reform related to the insurance industry including the re-write of the insurance taxing provisions and the financial claims scheme.
He has previously presented at the FSAA life and general insurance courses, and at FSAA Tax Days.
