Director, Indirect Tax
Alison is a director in PwC’s indirect tax practice. She has more than 20 years experience in advising on GST/VAT and more than 10 years specialising in insurance and financial services covering both GST and insurance duty.
Alison has recently worked on a number of technology projects within the insurance industry, including data analysis to identify opportunities and undertake controls exception testing for streamlined assurance reviews. She has recently worked with insurance clients to automate their compliance obligations through tax coding and automated cloud solutions.
Alison is actively involved in the insurance industry as a committee member of the FSAA tax group and regularly contributes to industry discussions with Treasury and the ATO and presents at industry events. Alison is also a member of the FSC insurance industry groups that regularly engage with the State Revenue Offices on insurance duty matters.
Alison is a Chartered Tax Adviser, a registered tax agent and has a BA (Hons) in Accounting.
