Brad is an Indirect Tax Partner based in Melbourne providing pro-active advice on indirect taxes including Goods and Services Tax (GST). Brad has over 20 years’ experience with the Indirect Tax practice of EY.
Brad principally assists clients in the financial services sector by providing clear and concise value propositions on a very technical aspect of the GST legislation. Brad also assists those clients from an indirect tax perspective on due diligence, structuring for acquisitions as well as divestment, developing and documenting GST apportionment methodologies as well as with managing ATO audits and disputes.
In recent years Brad has assisted his financial services clients in undertaking detailed data analytics exercises involving large volumes of data, as well as implementing automation processes around GST compliance. Brad’s current focus in the digital tax field is developing an approach for clients for the deployment of AI, including within the automated GST compliance processes.
