Vision, Objectives and Values of FSAA 

The Vision of FSAA

  • The FSAA will add value to the insurance industry by providing:
    • high quality, focused and cost-effective Continuing Professional Development;
    • networking and leadership training opportunities; and
    • forums to facilitate discussions with relevant regulators – ATO and SROs, AASB, APRA, ASIC and others as needed to Accountants, Tax Professionals, Auditors, Risk Managers and Regulators

The Objectives of FSAA

  • To provide relevant formal and informal activities and opportunities for ongoing Continuing Professional Education and networking ensuring members have access to a broad range of topics impacting the insurance industry
  • To provide relevant formal and informal forums for ongoing discussions with relevant regulators to facilitate understanding between the industry and regulators as needed
  • In achieving its objectives, the Association aspires to encourage the development of its members as value-adding participants in their employer and industry.

The Values of FSAA 

  • The needs of Members are the priority
  • Delivering the objectives using volunteers wherever possible
  • Continuing professional Development events are up to date and of the highest quality
  • Respected and quality speakers present and all events
  • Facilitating improved relationships and understanding between regulators and the industry

  • Volunteering provides the FSAA Membership with high quality presenters and speakers sourced from industry participants

The Association welcomes new ideas and participation from its Members.  If you have any feedback that may help develop the Association or would like to participate in a particular Committee then please contact us.
