There were a large number of nominations received for the categories of Best Mentor and Rising Star. The Selection Committee agreed that Pritpal and Rachel were the standout winners.
The Best Presenter Award was awarded by FSAA's CEO. Not only did Stephen receive consistently high scores by course participants, but he was very generous with his time in helping to update our course content.
Thank you to all of those that nominated candidates and a special thank you to ALL of our education presenters, without whom FSAA would not exist.
Congratulations to these worthy winners!
Best Mentor Pritpal Panesar, Liberty Specialty Markets Pritpal has been an ongoing mentor not just for his FP&A team, but for other finance team members along with non-finance teams across the company. He makes you think outside the box and explains in a language that is easy to understand. |
Rising Star Rachel Poo, QBE Insurance Rachel has done so much for the Insurance Industry in relation to the upcoming Insurance Accounting Standard IFRS 17. She has offered her time and commitment to help drive forward the AASB TRG with me and has been a significant contributor to developing the industry views on reinsurance under IFRS 17 and working to convince the IASB where change is needed. She is always ready to lend a hand, she collaborates happily across companies and consultants and keeps a smile on her face even when the going gets tough. She is resilient and smart. |
