Kaise Stephan, a Partner in Deloitte’s Actuarial & Insurance Solutions heading the General Insurance practice, has over 25 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry having fulfilled a number of Chief Actuary roles before joining Deloitte and more recently supporting general insurers with IFRS 17 implementations.
As a member of the Actuaries Institute AASB17 Taskforce, the Accountants and Actuaries Liaison Committee and through attendance at the Australian TRG, Kaise has been actively involved in discussions around interpretations and practical solutions for implementing the IFRS17 standard. Kaise has published a number of articles related to IFRS17 topics.
Kaise holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) in Actuarial studies from Macquarie University, is a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute of Australia, Fellow of the New Zealand Society of Actuaries.
