Chris is a Director with 20+ years of experience specialising in all aspects of risk management. He leads ESG solutions and capabilities development within KPMG’s Risk Strategy & Technology practice.
He has advised peak regulatory bodies on sustainable roadmap development, and leading financial institutions on climate risk management.
Chris’s understanding of best practices has been gained from international assignments across all three lines of defence. He has certifications in sustainable finance, anti-money laundering and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining KPMG, he held senior risk positions at large financial institutions domestically and internationally, and consulted with EY (South Africa, USA) and PwC (UK), including assurance and M&A transaction services.
