Head of Group Accounting Policy
Rachel is the Head of Group Accounting Policy at QBE and leads the Accounting Policy stream of QBE’s IFRS 17 implementation project. She actively participates in various local and international forums discussing IFRS 17 interpretation issues and has contributed to the preparation of QBE and Australian industry submissions to the IASB (including the AASB response to the IASB Exposure Draft of Amendments to IFRS 17).
Prior to her role at QBE, she worked in Deloitte’s financial services Assurance and Advisory practice in Sydney and London where she was heavily involved in IFRS 17 engagements, which included advising clients on the impacts of IFRS 17.
