Brian has been a member of the FSAA since 2006. Brian joined the Education Committee in March 2011 and the Federal Board in July 2014. He has been a presenter on the GI Education courses since May 2010 and has overseen the updating of the course materials throughout his time on the Education Committee.
Brian has been a Finance professional in the insurance industry for over 25 years having worked for Underwriters, Brokers and Mutuals both locally and internationally. He is currently Head of Finance for Capricorn Society’s Risk Division which operates a Mutual and a licensed insurance Broker, both of which he is a Responsible Manager for.
Brian holds a Master of Business Administration, is a Fellow of CA Australia and New Zealand, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Justice of the Peace. Brian is also the Chairman, Trustee and Treasurer of the Australian Cord Blood Foundation and holds a number of other board positions.
