The&nbsp\;Finance Transformation Program
This newly developed Program&nbsp\;looks to bring members together for a series of four in-person events.
The first session\, The Economic Justification for Finance Transformation\, will be held on Friday&nbsp\;18 October from 12.30pm until 1.30pm\, and will be hosted by Deloitte&nbsp\;Sydney.&nbsp\;
The second session will focus on Artificial Intelligence.&nbsp\; The remaining two sessions will be held over the following six months\, with dates\, venues and presenters to be advised soon.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
This Program is sponsored by FSAA&nbsp\;and our Venue Hosting Partner and is free of charge for members.&nbsp\; A light lunch will be provided.&nbsp\;
Places are strictly limited and it is expected that participants will attend all four sessions.

Session One: The Economic Justification for Finance Transformation
This session will cover the following:

Setting the scene.
Transformation defined and the transformation hypotheses​.
The requirement for success​.
Moving up the value tree​.
The economic justification &ndash\; cost savings and quality improvements​.
Case study​

Session One Presenter\, Victor Walter\, President of FSAA
Victor Walter is a qualified CA with over 30 years' experience. He is the recently retired Deputy CEO Corporate Services and CFO at National Disability Insurance Agency.&nbsp\; Previously he was in the role of Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer of QBE Insurance Group Limited. He served as Chief Finance Officer for QBE Australia New Zealand from 2001 until he moved into his new role. Victor has been a member of the FSSA since 2001 and became President in 2009. He once again serves as Present and Secretary. Outside of his Insurance life Victor&rsquo\;s passion is Rowing where he is on the Board of NSW Rowing.
