Investor Relations - ONLINE ONLY

Date

From: Thursday July 1, 2021, 12:00 pm

To: Thursday July 1, 2021, 1:00 pm

Investor relations is an essential function for any listed company, acting as the primary link between the company and the investment community. This is especially important in an insurance company, with unique markets forces and accounting treatments. While many finance professionals naturally focus on regulatory financial reporting requirements and the internal management accounting of their organisation, it is essential we are also aware of how our organisations are perceived and assessed externally by investors.

Tony Jackson and Paul Hutton from QBE will explore the world of investor relations to shed some light on how this works. Key questions they will cover include:

• Ownership trends – exploring the various investment styles that drive investment decisions.

• How companies interact with investors?

• How analysts influence the market?

• What investors look for in an insurance company?

The webinar will run for approximately 40 minutes with a window of time for Q&A.
