The General Introductory course is designed primarily for people who have just entered or recently entered the insurance industry and is aimed at those wishing to broaden their insurance accounting knowledge. The two day GI course covers seven topics with presenters selected from within the industry, or the professional firms supporting it, for their knowledge in the areas covered. The General Insurance Intermediate Course is aimed at those who have been in the industry for a few years and wish to deepen and broaden various aspects of their general insurance accounting knowledge. The course actively builds on the concepts introduced in the General Insurance Introductory Course.
The Course has been designed as a short, concise two day program consisting of 6 modules. It provides participants with an in-depth knowledge of accounting concepts and their practical implications. Presenters are selected from within the industry, or the professional firms supporting it, for their knowledge in the areas covered. Participants are involved in a mix of presentations, group discussions and practical exercises to reinforce and apply their learning. Our Life industry courses are currently being revamped. We aim to launch a new course for our life insurance members in the second half of 2018.
This free course is open to all current FSAA Education Presenters or those members who would like to receive more information about presenting at one of the three FSAA courses. Please email our administrator if you would like to participate in the next course
Courses are held at the The Portside Centre, Level 5, Symantec House, 207 Kent Street, Sydney. The Portside Centre is a purpose built training and conference venue located in Sydney's CBD, just a short walk from Wynyard train and bus station. To download their location map please click here.

Confirmation of Bookings: Course confirmation will be emailed within 7 days of course start date.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be granted less 10% cancellation fee on notification in writing no less than 7 days prior to course start date. There will be no refund for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the event. Within 7 days a substitution will be accepted, but no transfers will be granted.
Payment must be received in full ten days prior to your course.
