Matthew Moore has worked in and around private health insurance for over 20 years in a number of strategic and operational roles including risk, IT, and senior executive roles.  He has a deep understanding of the regulatory and financial underpinnings of private health insurance businesses, and the way the health system functions within the Australian market.

Michael Nolan has a broad experience in sales, marketing, strategy and operations across a number of industries.  Over the last 5-6 years he has also had a strong focus on working with private health insurance businesses to develop strategies and processes to help deliver better customer outcomes and improved profitability.

Alycia Amundson

Module 3: Claims, Reserving and Risk Equalisation

Alycia is an Actuarial and Management Consultant at Finity with four years’ experience in the general insurance industry. She is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. Alycia has a wide range of experience in both short tail and long tail insurance. During her time at Finity, Alycia has worked on a number of projects for general insurers, health insurers and corporations, including valuation and pricing assignments as well as strategy pieces.

Stephen Connors, FSAA

Module 4 Regulatory Environment and Statutory Reporting

Module 5 APRA Reporting

Stephen is the CEO of the FSAA. He is a chartered accountant and has been working in the Insurance industry for over 12 years (with 15 years in total in accounting and audit). He has spent the majority of his career in professional services providing assurance and advisory services to various parts of the insurance sector. He recently spent five years as a Director at Deloitte in Sydney, with the six years prior to this also in insurance external audit in the Netherlands and Bermuda. Stephen is a member and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
