Joseph Russell, Petsure

Presenting Introduction & Module 1  Joseph Russell joined PetSure as CFO in March 2017 managing our finance and business intelligence functions, overseeing product development and pricing and is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. Joseph’s more than 20 years’ industry experience started in professional services in the UK with KPMG where he gained extensive proficiency in audit, assurance and advice. Joseph has over 17 years’ experience in the insurance industry having held several senior finance roles most notably in The Hollard Insurance Company where he was CFO of Hollard Business Partners and subsequently the group Head of Capital. Joseph is a proud pet parent to Coco – a Boston Terrier

India Preswick, KPMG

Presenting Module 2 - APRA  India Preswick is a Manager in KPMG Australia’s Audit, Assurance & Risk Consulting group with over 7 years’ experience in performing financial services audits and assurance engagements for general and life insurance, superannuation and funds clients. This experience includes both financial statement and regulatory audits, as well as the assessment of internal controls and dealing with accounting issues.

Brenan Fehon, TAL

Presenting Module 4, Liabilities & Implications  Brendan is the Delivery and Solutions Actuary within the Superannuation, Retirement and New Propositions team at TAL.  He has 13 years of actuarial and professional services experience, across general insurance, life insurance and investments.  Brendan is an Associate of the Actuaries Institute since 2016. Brendan has consulted to a number of insurers and reinsurers across a broad spectrum of issues including, liability valuations, capital management, pricing and statutory reporting.  Brendan has been presenting the Liabilities module for the FSAA General Insurance Intermediate Course for the past 3 years.
