Conference 2017

Conference 2017

The FSAA National Conference was held at the Sheraton on the Park during November 2017.

This conference  focused on the important current issues that are facing finance professionals at all levels within the insurance industries.  We looked into industry challenges, what companies can be doing to navigate through our current environment, as well as individual leadership and personal development. Top industry leaders and specialists shared their personal experiences and views on the challenges facing the insurance industries. As an example, Egon Zehnder shared what they look for in superior leaders and what it takes to stand out from the crowd and we heard from leaders from ASIC, Insurance Council of Australia and the Financial Services Council on our society's 'Social Licence to Operate' in today's marketplace. Todd Sampson's presentation on Redesigning your Brain was truly outstanding!

Who attends?

Any finance professional in the Insurance Industry who is curious and keen to be up to date with contemporary industry issues and opportunities. Topics were relevant for aspiring future leaders, as well as established industry experts operating at  the c-suit level.

Attendance was open to  corporate members, individual member and non-members.

In addition to bringing participants up to speed with the issues that are likely to affect them in their role, there was be plenty of networking opportunities with peers from around Australia.
